This is the most modern and economical manufacturing method for producing softwood lumber. It can be used to cut logs with small end diameters between 12 and 45 cm and lengths from 2.50 to 7.00 metres. Feed speeds of up to 150 m per minute can be achieved. Between two and ten straight-edged sideboards are produced without a separate board edger. Precision sawn lumber with an excellent surface finish.
