Automatic infeed and centering device EV / EVP
with scanner controlled log turning device, hydraulically actuated centering units and pressure rollers for feeding chipper canters with logs and cants.
This is a modular design, and can be built to suit individual requirements.
The infeed- and centering system EVP also allows a parallel- and diagonal displacement for recovery increase when recutting curved cants.

Chipper canter VM
Available in different executions, as a precut or re-cut machine. .
The machine is equipped with two main drive motors with an output of up to 160 kW each.
The cutter heads can either be adjusted by multiple-speed gear motors, servo motor or servo cylinder.
Feed speed of the outfeed unit with hydraulically controlled pivoting rolls up to max. 150 m/min. |

Stepped disc cutter heads SMK
For chipper canter VM with feed speeds of up to 150 m per minute
The stepped disc cutter heads can be fitted with several steps per cutting depth and up to six chipper knives per step, depending on feed speed and chip length.
The cutter heads can either be designed with saw segments or dressing knives. Maximum chip length 30 mm. |
