The Circular Saw Unit KCSU developed by Linck Hvt was delivered to France for the first time and put in operation at the sawmill Weber in Wangenbourg.
Whereas in the past a vertical gangsaw and a band saw with conventional conveying equipment have been used, these two machines were replaced now by the Circular Saw Unit KCSU. Within few weeks the cutting capacity could be increased from approx. 130 cubic meters to 180 cubic meters of logs per day.
Less personnel, higher cutting capacity and therefore reduced cutting costs, a substantially better cutting quality and accuracy of the sawn lumber products are the reasons why the sawmill Weber in Wangenbourg is looking forward to a secure future. |
